Bruno Schiavi’s first foray into fashion in the early nineties caused a sensation with the arrival of his revolutionary pocket sock. Bruno quickly expanded to launch his lingerie brand anabella on the web followed by a collection with Delta Goodrem - delta by anabella, then a men’s underwear range called MensFiT and a luxury linen line with global icon Priscilla Presley

2007 will see the unveiling of his Italian Designer Shoe Collection SCHIAVI.

To celebrate Bruno has teamed up with 10 well known celebrities to co design a pair of shoes for Fashion Targets Breast Cancer (FTBC). FTBC is a worldwide program managed within Australia by the National Breast Cancer Foundation. FTBC is more than a fashion statement - it helps to raise awareness about breast cancer research and is an important reminder to women of all ages to be diligent about early detection.

Help support the 13,000 Australian women who are diagnosed each year with breast cancer.

Megan Gale, Jackie O, Kate Waterhouse, Tahyna Tozzi, Toni Pearen, Catriona Rowntree, Kate Ritchie and Delta Goodrem will unveil their FTBC shoe designs with Bruno at the Crystal Room on Tuesday 27th March 2007. The next day 5 pairs of each celebrity designed shoe will be auctioned online with all proceeds going to raise money for breast cancer research.

Italian shoes have long been regarded as the best in the world so its little wonder Bruno Schiavi has set out to create his own collection of Italian designer shoes. As well as revealing the FTBC shoe designs Tuesday 27th March 2007 will also be the first look at SCHIAVI Italian Shoes.

Utilising only the best materials sourced and manufactured in Italy, Bruno has created stunning Italian shoes that are available at realistic prices. Bruno wanted his collection to be spectacular yet timeless, in essence, bringing out the luxury Italian quality and feel without the imported designer price tag.

The colour palette in the first collection of SCHIAVI is based around timeless blacks, browns, terracottas and creams with hints of lime green, mustard and gold worked into the designs. The range features Italian leathers, imported fabrics and Swarovski crystals incorporated into a variety styles from pumps, dress sandals and mules with heels ranging from 2 to 6 inches in wedge, kitten and stiletto shapes.

SCHIAVI Shoes will be available to buy online from 28th March 2007.
